The 11th edition of Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, the major Italian Film Festival about horror genre cinema, will take place in Ravenna (Italy) from 26th October to 2nd November 2013 (Halloween period). The Festival will propose the International Competition For Feature Films; and premieres & special events which will make Ravenna, for one week, Italian capital of horror cinema.
Seeing the big blockbusters at the movie theaters is fun and exciting, but it’s the little films that are just as entertaining. Independent films are part of that and so are Short films. One form of Short films is the Stephen King film program, “Dollar Baby” program.
The story takes place at the Samuel Claggert Museum where the possessions and antiques of Claggert are on display and in some cases for sale. At this museum, the antique, Delver’s mirror is waiting to be seen by a antique collector, Mr. Johnson Spangler(played by John-David Wiese) for a possible purchase.

Every summer as far back as I can remember, there has always been one summer film that stands out above the rest. In 1975 it was Jaws, in 1977 Star Wars, in 1982 E.T., 1993 Jurassic Park and so on. This summer there is one film I believe will be the BIG blockbuster of 2013. That film is Pacific Rim.

When we think of Stephen King we immediately think of “horror”. Dubbed the “Master of Horror”, King has scared us by taking the most innocent things like dogs, cars, clowns, kids, and many other things and turning them into nightmares. However, there is another side to King. He can write and tell the most amazing stories that have nothing really to do with horror such as; The Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me (The Body), and The Green Mile. All three known as some of his best work. Well, you can now add another wonderful tale to that list: Joyland.
