When I think of great women authors of horror, the macabre, fantasy, romance, and gothic genres, authors such as Mary Shelley, V.C. Andrews, Anne Rice, and Brooklyn Ann come to mind, and now another, MS Chambers, author of THE SISTERS OF THE MOON Trilogy. I’ve read this trilogy recently, and now I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing the books and interviewing author MS Chambers. I’m sure you will enjoy both.
Who could have imagined that fifty years on, author Stephen King’s writing career would become a veritable universe of its own. From websites, fan clubs, fan pages on social media, film festivals, and entire book clubs dedicated to his work alone, one could discover something new indefinitely. There are even writers and webmasters who call themselves Stephen King ‘scholars’.
There has been no other decade in the history of modern times that has been referenced to, admired, inspiring, and seems to be loved more than the 1980′s. If you look at television shows, music, or fashion today, many of them have been patterned after the 80′s. This includes films as well.
To say Marie D. Jones wears many hats would be an understatement. She has an extensive list of credits to her name, from author, filmmaker, podcast guest, and many others in between.
To say author David Tocher is an established young talent would be an understatement. David studied Shakespeare’s life and complete works, World literature, English literature, theology, and holds an Associate of Divinity degree, studied Judaism, has studied novel writing, editing and proofreading. His accomplishments are quite extensive.
Andrew J. Rausch is a family man, father, editor, interviewer, expert on Pop Culture, but he’s also an extremely talented author of nearly fifty published books. His topics range from directors such as Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, and Ed Wood, to books about films, as well as Hip Hop music, to sharing his thoughts on author Stephen King. However, whatever Andrew writes, he pours his heart and soul into it, drawing the reader completely in.
Sitting down with a good read is still something that many of us love to do. Picking up a book transports anywhere we want to go. Many of us love to be scared out of our wits by a great horror story. What better time than Autumn to read creepy tales of things that go bump in the night? Christofer Cook’s two books, AMITYVILLE 1925, and HALLOW EVIL give readers plenty of scares through one creepy tale after another.
Author, Brooklyn Ann, is talented, and has a keen vision of horror, entwined with romance. This makes her books truly compelling. They cover a variety of genres: vampires, heavy metal, gothic, and horror, but they’re all bathed with love and romance.
PERSPECTIVES OF STEPHEN KING is a collection of interviews that give many different aspects of Stephen King. The introduction at the beginning of the book was welcoming, friendly, and made you feel like you were about to go on a great ride.
Known as, “the world’s leading expert on Stephen King“, Stephen Spignesi is a talented writer on several levels. However all stories have a beginning, and Stephen’s began in the New England state of Connecticut. Born July 16, 1953, Stephen always had a passion for writing.
