THE BOOGEYMAN – Jeff Schiro

The short story of The boogeyman, was first published in March of 1973 in Cavalier magazine and in 1978 published in Stephen King’s collection of short stories book, Night Shift. The story is about a husband and father of three, Lester Billings (played by Michael Read), who comes home only to find his 4yr. daughter dead in the bathtub. Later, his 5yr. son dies in bed.

LUCKEY QUARTER – Robert Cochrane

This short story was originally published in the June 30/July 2 1995 issue of Usa weekend. It was later published in 1997 in the limited edition Stephen King book, Six Stories. In 2002, it was published along with many other short stories in the collection, Everything’s eventual.

This short story based on Stephen King‘s works, was first published in Transgressions: Volume 2 and in 2008 added to the short story collection book, Just After Sunset. The film takes place on and days after the most terrifying event in America’s history: bombings at the World Trade Center in New York on 9-11 2001.

The story is told through the eyes of a little boy, Isaac (played by Tyler Chase) who is get’s into trouble at school, does what he pleases, and mostly lies. He lies to his father, his teachers, and anyone who will listen. He comes from a broken home without a mother. His father (played by Rob Patterson) is a war vet and alcoholic who doesn’t really care about anything, not since his wife and Tyler’s mom left.

SURVIVOR TYPE – Billy Hanson

Survivor Type is a short film like I’ve never seen before. It is scary, suspenseful, and very graphic! All the ingredients for a great Stephen King adaptation. The story is about a surgeon, Richard Pine (played perfectly by Gideon Emery) who has crash landed on a deserted island after being on a cruise ship on a special trip.
