THIS CHEST OF WONDERS – Andy Burns

Ask any die hard fan of Stephen King, one of the worlds greatest writers of all time, what their favorite book is, and of course the answers you get will vary. Some will say, IT, others might say, PET SEMATARY, or THE SHINING, or you might get another answer being that there are 60 other book titles he has written. However, the most consecutive answer you are likely hear is: THE STAND.

SPIDER SEASON – Billy Hanson

The Stephen King “It’s A Dollar Baby”, film program has been around since the late 1970′s. This program allows Independent filmmakers to direct a film adaptation based on one of Stephen King short stories. Director, Billy Hanson, took part in this program with his version of the Stephen King short story, SURVIVOR TYPE. This film was quite impressive, and has won many film awards.

WOZ – John Long

I have always been a firm believer in the “independent” artist. Those who struggle to get their work out there in the world to be seen or read. Those who stay up late at night, losing sleep, sacrificing, pouring their heart and soul into their work, slamming the keyboards as fast and hard as they can till they almost bleed, and to the ones who have a dream … a dream to get that one film or one story out there that would change their lives forever.

DOCTOR SLEEP – Stephen King

When it comes to Stephen King new releases, it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, to King fans it feels like Christmas. A new King book release is an event in itself. At one point in his career, King released 2-4 books a year! He is much older now, he has slowed down, but not by much. It is rare for King to do a sequel to one of his books.

NOS4A2 – Joe Hill
