INSIDE THE WHORE poster revealed

The official poster for Norweigian director Reinert Kiil‘s Hora (The Whore) sequel Inside The Whore has finally been revealed. The film is scheduled for release in the fall 2012 by Scandinavian distributor Another World Entertainment who also released the original Hora in 2010.

THE KILLING GAMES banned for excessive violence

The killing games is too violent for the Edmonton International Film Festival says Chairman Michael Hamm. Director Barry J. Gillis invited reps from his own city to a Private Screening of his movie on May 18th at the historic Garneau Theatre in Edmonton.

The new Roar Uthaug film: ESCAPE

Following all the good feedbacks gathered by Cold Prey and after a fantasy digression beside his wife, norwegian director Roar Uthaug gets back to the origin shooting Escape. Watching trailer and various images it seems a jump into the hyperkinetic medieval times, recently watched thanks to Neil Marshall‘s Centurion. Ben Affleck’s ARGO trailer is available

Following amazing movies as Gone Baby Gone or The Town, Ben Affleck gets back the camera again and shoots a drama-thriller: Argo. Based on true events, Argo is about a six american soldiers in Iran rescue mission, through a dramatic scheme, invisible to the world outside. Argo will be released on theatre on October 12th.

MANIAC COP prequel, Refn as co-producer

Maniac Cop remake / reboot / prequel (probably this last one will be the final shape) was a stone to be labeled under “made in Hollywood” remake-mania. This prequel is going to be produced by Nicolas Winding Refn, beside William Lustig, the 1998 movie original director.

Refn, old-school horror lover, seems to be “hot” for the saga reboot, but fan have to wait ’cause of director or start date are still to be decided.

The dead have risen and they need more ‘BRAINS’! Dan O’Bannon’s cult splatterfest The Return Of The Living Dead is one of the definitive zombie movies and one of the classic horror films of the 80s. Now this horror favourite is being released on 4 June 2012 courtesy of Second Sight as a special edition double DVD and makes its UK Blu-ray debut in a limited edition Steelbook, both with five hours of special features and also the much anticipated inclusion of the original soundtrack as well as the remixed version.
