In the deathroom is a short story that was first published in 1999 on an audiobook called, BLOOD & SMOKE by Stephen King. A year later, it was published in Secret windows and in 2002 it was published in King’s collection of short stories called Everything’s eventual. The story takes place in room, a “deathroom”.
Now that the big summer blockbusters are behind us, we have the holiday season to look forward to. Along with that comes your Family films, Holiday-themed, Oscar contenders, and a few more box office blockbusters to wrap up the year with. One of those is the first of the season, The Hunger games: catching fire. This is the sequel to the mega-box office hit, The Hunger games which came out in 2012 and based on the World-Wide Best-Selling book trilogy of the same name.

Heavy doom metallers Exorcism, featuring guitarist Joe “Shredlord” Stump (Raven Lord, Holy Hell), recently entered the studio this summer to begin recording their yet untitled debut album for an early 2014 release via GoldenCore Recors/ZYX Music.
Here is a clip from an arthouse horror film that has been banned at several festivals and which has won awards at others, in its first public screenings: controversial director Trevor Juenger‘s Coyote. The film stars Bill Oberst Jr. as an insomniac writer whose sleep-deprived hallucinations distort reality as paranoia drives him to extreme violence.
Maria was born March 3rd, 1986, in St. Petersburg and still lives there to this day. She says, she “loves that city with all my heart, can’t imagine any other place as my home.” Maria went to school there and later graduated with a degree in Law.
It is time once again to take a break from the big blockbuster films we’re use to and take a moment to spotlight another Short film from the Stephen King “Dollar Baby Program”. The “Dollar Baby Progam” is a film program designed by King many years ago for up-and-coming filmmakers to get their work out there and show the world what they can do with his words. The latest comes from filmmaker, Maria Ivanova and her film, Beachworld.
Rodney is a 32yr. old filmmaker originally from Pittsburgh, PA. When he was younger, he took filmmaking classes in High School at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. He loved it so much, he wanted to instantly pursue his filmmaking career and education. He applied at the New York Univ. Tisch School of the Arts, but unfortunately didn’t get in the first time around.
Once again, it is time for us to take a break from the big blockbuster films and enjoy something a little smaller. It’s time for another review from the Stephen King “Dollar Baby Program”. This is a film program started by King many years ago to help Independent filmmakers get into the film industry and let the world see their work. This time, it is from filmmaker, Rodney Altman and his “Dollar Baby” film, Umney’s Last Case.
Friday the 13th is a cult movie, you can love it or not but it’s impossible to consider this movie outside this flag. So many movies characterized this slasher series, moving from good (chapter 1, chapter 9) to bad quality (chapter 4) ones, strengthen fan population over the world.
