NECRONOS TOWER OF DOOM – Marc Rohnstock
Necronos’ purpose is to guide a living dead horde to be orchestrated as puppets, place berzerkers as (in)human assault weapons and destroy Mother earth. Necronos is one of the evil personification attacking humanity and, moving himself side by side wìth Goran and Manoush, that are both demon slaves, he tries to find the chosen one blood, as to complete the poison will annihilate the whole world.
Directly coming from Germany, Necronos- Tower of doom, is a bloody and ultra-violent epic, consisting in a basic plot written only to show a sequence of atrocious killings and infinite tortures. But, it’s better to write it immediately, Marc Rohnstock‘s movie is a low-budget where cast and crew efforts are evident, it isn’t a home-made-zero-budget movie guided by non-sense plot or no-money accuracy.
Used to design splatter scenarios (Dungeon of Evil or Graveyard of the living dead), Rohnstock gathers all the gore elements usually spread for these kind of movies, doing wrong only in an excessive length, particularly during the first half that is the real block to be outdone as to reach the gore part. Great make-up and special effects, distinguish Necronos – Tower of doom from other similar movies, a small budget movie but a big (in effort) movie shot by a splatter fan, capables to involve other insider as Andreas Schnass, Marc Trinkholz, Timo Rose, Annika Strauss or Andreas Pape. Absolutely recommended to all the die hard (gore) fan.
